Hi Penny! I did just that today! I put the top down on my little convertible and drove to the flea market this morning. Life is good with a little sun on your face and the wind in your hair! Hope you are having a lovely weekend. xoxo ~ Joy
I did just that this morning ......... and then almost had a heat stroke. OMGosh! We are having a heat wave .....almost 100 degrees yesterday....in the mountains!!
Still great advice .....but literally speaking .... I'll wait until the heat wave passes! HA!
Penny, you capture such great pictures and they just put us in dreamland and such peaceful settings. Thank you for sharing. The apron picture is up. Have a Blessed Day, Bonnie
I used to shun the sun (bad for the skin, ya know?), but then I started slapping on sun block and getting out there in the fresh air. It really does make you feel better and can help with seasonally induced depression.
I love to use all my senses and like to be surrounded with things that look good, feel good, smell good, taste good, and hear good. It just makes life more enjoyable!
hi penny! i love that idea, taking time and enjoy the senses! Unfortunately, it's so hot here today, i think it went up to over 100 degrees! i have to water my plants twice (a.m. & p.m.)
oh, i love your sunflower photography, it is so dramatic, good enough to paint. speaking of painting, have you visited my art blog yet? in case, here it is click here

I love the soft light in your flower photo. When the sun gently touches the subject I think it is just beautiful.
It's like a little respite in here today...thanks!
It is truly a day for doing just that, and for trying to find a bit of a breeze with all this sunshine we are having.
I'll have to send my friend Dawn over to listen to the music. She is in love with John Denver.
